In this photo is a 2017 Street Glide. The stock saddlebag mounting Lever and the LocEzy® Knob is marked. Notice the lever on the rear of the saddlebag. She how close it comes to the lid latch hook. Customers do not like this as it is to close and causes problems when trying to tighten it. Fingers are being pinched, scraped or just plain in the way.
Depending on when it ends uptight, it snags on clothing or other items placed in the saddlebag. The lever protrudes into the saddlebag 1-1/4”. The Red LocEzy® only protrudes into the saddlebag 5/8” and will not snag or interfere with the contents of the saddlebag. The best part of the LocEzy on the 2017-2020 models is that you do NOT have to change the stock U-Clips when installing the LocEzy®’s. The thread pattern on the 2017-2020 is produced to fit the stock U-Clips. Unscrew one of the stock levers at a time. You do not have to remove the motorcycle saddlebag for installation! Once tight, proceed to the other one. VERY easy!
